Terms of Service

These terms apply to the Boring CRM Android app ("the App") and this website, provided by The Boring Medium ("we", "us"). By installing or using the App you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the App.

1. The service

Boring CRM helps real estate professionals manage leads, follow-ups and site visits, WhatsApp messages, property quotations, call logs, Facebook Lead Ads and backups. Features may change as we improve the App.

2. Free use and ads

All CRM features are free to use. The free version shows advertisements served by Google AdMob. We may also show offers from Boring CRM and its partners in the Promotions screen.

3. Remove Ads subscription

  • The optional Remove Ads subscription is sold through Google Play, billed monthly or yearly at the price shown in Google Play before you confirm.
  • It removes Google ads from the App. It does not unlock extra features, and offers in Promotions may still appear (you can hide them from your dashboard).
  • Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled. Cancel any time in Google Play → Payments & subscriptions; ads return at the end of the paid period.
  • Refunds are handled under Google Play's refund policies.
  • Earlier one-time ad-removal purchases remain valid. Use Restore purchases with the same Google account.
  • We may change prices for new purchases. Google Play notifies existing subscribers of price changes as its rules require.

4. Your data and backups

  • Your CRM data is stored on your phone and belongs to you. We cannot access or recover it.
  • You are responsible for making and keeping backups. Use the App's backup feature and store the files safely.
  • You are responsible for having a lawful basis to store and contact the people in your CRM, and for following local laws on calling, messaging and data protection.
  • How we handle the limited data that does reach us is described in our Privacy Policy.

5. Acceptable use

  • Use the App only for lawful purposes.
  • Don't use WhatsApp, calling or other features to send spam or unwanted messages.
  • Don't misuse support chat, or attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer or copy the App, except where the law allows it.

6. Support, notifications and promotions

Support is provided on a best-effort basis through in-app chat and WhatsApp. Offers in Promotions marked "Sponsored" come from partners; we don't check them, and any deal you make is between you and the partner.

7. Third-party services

The App works with services such as Google Play, Firebase, AdMob, WhatsApp, Facebook and your phone's dialer. Their own terms apply, and we are not responsible for their availability or behaviour.

8. Intellectual property

The App, its design and the Boring CRM name and logo belong to The Boring Medium. You may not use our branding without permission.

9. Disclaimers

The App is provided "as is" and "as available". Reminders depend on your phone's settings, such as notifications, battery optimisation and exact-alarm permission. Tax amounts on quotations are calculated from the rates you enter; check that they are correct for your deal. To the extent the law allows, we make no warranties of any kind.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, The Boring Medium is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost business or profits, or loss of data, including data lost because of device failure, uninstallation or missing backups.

11. Changes and termination

We may update these terms, or change or discontinue the App. Updated terms appear on this page with a new date. You can stop using the App at any time by uninstalling it.
