Data and limits
Your client data, on your phone
Leads, notes, follow-ups, attachments and quotations are stored on your phone and are not uploaded to Boring CRM servers.
India's Digital Personal Data Protection (DPDP) Act sets rules for how personal data, like a buyer's name and number, is collected and used. This page isn't legal advice, but a few habits help: collect only what you need, keep your client list behind a lock, and delete leads you no longer have a reason to keep.
Boring CRM supports those habits with an app lock, archive and delete, and backup files that you control. The app does use anonymous usage analytics, Google ads and Firebase for support chat and notifications. Is Boring CRM free for real estate agents in India?
Yes. Every CRM feature is free, with no lead limit and no trial that ends. The free version shows Google ads. If you'd rather not see ads, the optional Remove Ads subscription costs ₹49 a month or ₹399 a year on Google Play. It removes ads only; features stay the same.
Can I put my GSTIN and RERA number on quotations?
Yes. Enter your GSTIN and RERA registration number once in the quotation business setup, along with your name, logo, phone, email, address and default terms. With India selected as your country, every quotation PDF shows them, with GST as the tax label and the amount in words in lakh and crore.
Can I import leads from 99acres, MagicBricks or Housing.com?
Boring CRM doesn't connect to property portals. Add portal leads by hand in a few seconds, or pick them from your phone contacts. When you first set up the app, you can import your existing leads from a CSV file saved from Excel or Google Sheets.
Can a property dealer's team share one lead database?
No. Each phone keeps its own leads, and there's no shared database or web dashboard. Boring CRM suits independent agents and small offices where each person works their own leads. If your team needs shared leads, a cloud team CRM is a better fit.
Does Boring CRM work in Hindi or other Indian languages?
Not today. The app is in English only. Lead names, remarks and your own WhatsApp templates can be written in any language your keyboard supports, since they're your own text.
